How to add YouTube videos to your post

Tired of having posts removed, replies filtered out, and information hidden from you? This forum is censorship free, posts wont be hidden or removed by farcebook, politicians can't block you, and topics can be updated so information about any particular topic can stay on topic and be referred to, copied etc without being lost in a million other posts. The forum, hosting, domain and IT has been provided by Redback Graphics, who has for several years been supporting patriot groups, building websites at no charge or cost price (hosting, domain names, licensing of specialist software). Nearly every effort has collapsed for different reasons, the domain or hosting is left to expire and that valuable information has been lost. So this forum is a stayer, to hold and share important information, give people a safe and private place to discuss ways forward. Built and maintained by Redback Graphics For The People. There will be no political party sponsorship, no government interference, no censoring of information.

How to add YouTube videos to your post

Post by Jill » Thu Apr 16, 2020 2:27 pm

Either create a new topic, or when replying to another comment, you can add a YouTube video.

Create a "New Topic", or reply to someone elses topic.
Add any comment you might have about the video, if you want to add a comment.
Place the cursor under your comment so the YouTube video will be on another line (eg. under your comment)

That will insert the following code (see red dot "1" in screenshots below video):

Then, get the YouTube URL, from YouTube. If you click the "Share" button, it will give you a URL to copy, that will look something like this eg. (see red dot "2" in screenshots below video)

Then copy JUST the ID part of the YouTube URL in between the code tags.
The full URL will be eg.

So the code with look like eg. [youtube ] kQd57Ua2tW0 [ /youtube ] (spaces added to show the code and not the video)

Then the video will appear eg.

Watch it on YouTube
